Bomi Group keeps growing, changing and adapting

The Linex integration in Brazil strengthened the regional consolidation of the Bomi Health Carrier and Bomi Health

Forwarding business units in LATAM.  The next step is the re-organization of the branch into two different Business

units: Logistics and Transportation.

We are pleased to announce that Telma Santoro is now leading our Transportation Business Unit

in Brazil as Head of BU Transportation. Telma has a wide experience in multicultural Brazilian

companies and multinationals, such as Luft and DHL.  She is skilled in the areas of negotiation

and leadership; and we know her ability to conduct change will come in handy.

When asked what she expects of this new work, Telma says:

“I take on this challenge with great satisfaction and with the mission of engaging our entire team

to do an excellent job, which is only possible when we do it with love and a sense of ownership.

Our mission is to exceed the expectations of our customers and shareholders, I’m sure we’re on

the right track.”

Ricardo Navarro, a well experienced executive in our Healthcare Logistics sector in Brazil, joined

BOMI on February 1st as Head of BU Logistics. Ricardo was part of Bomi Group for 18 years

before leaving and gaining experience among other logistics companies such as Kelly and Ativa

Logistica, making him an expert in developing new logistic solutions and in all storage and

distribution processes for dry and refrigerated products:

“I’m so excited and proud to be back at Bomi Group, a company for which I was the 1st Brazilian

employee and worked at for 18 years until I decided to explore other skills on the market. Now it is time to

come back, so we can develop together, with the amazing Brazilian Bomi team’s outstanding solutions,

for our customers, handling health with care and passion. It’s time to dare!!”

With the objective to continue to support our operations excellence and projects in LATAM, we

are pleased to announce the on-boarding of Carlos Carmo as LATAM Operations Excellence &

PMO Director. He is a veteran of our Logistics industry and will be of great support to improve

our operational flows, drive the implementation of our technology agenda and process

efficiency plans. He has worked at Johnson&Johnson and APL Logistics in South America.

“I am very excited with the opportunity to join Bomi Group, a company that is a reference in the

pharmaceutical and medical logistics in Latin America. The brand Bomi itself is an important

asset for the company, considering the market respect acquired through a record of consistent

services provided to a highly represented portfolio of customers. The developing momentum that

is part of company’s strategy is one of the compelling points to me.”

Carlos says about BOMI and his new position.

We are confident this team will help us deliver a very solid program based on our customers’ needs and

expectations.  We would like to wish Telma, Ricardo and Carlos a warm welcome.
