Bomi Group, following the entry into SOS-LOG, the first Italian association for Sustainable Logistics, is among the first companies to have started the validation process in order to obtain the “Sustainable Logistics” brand to seal the path of sustainability that sees us as a protagonist.
After the intervention at the Green Logistics Expo in Padova, which took place on March 8th, Bomi Group told its story yesterday at the Seminar “The Sustainable Logistics Mark”, held in Milan at the Assologistica Cultura and Formazione.
Faced with colleagues from the logistics world and some customers in the Healthcare sector, the company talked about the challenges and the next steps envisaged by the protocol that will end in Q4 2018 with the obtaining of the brand and its exploitation towards all stakeholders.
It is precisely the valorisation of the contents of this important project one of the main objectives of Bomi Group: making Sustainability the fundamental ingredient for generating value within the entire Health supply chain and supporting customers in their “value selling proposition” in their reference market.
Serena Sessa , Bomi Group’s Global Quality Manager, comments: “We have been working in the health sector for over 30 years: we manage products and tools that take care of and can also save people’s lives and for this reason we have always lived our mission with a deep ethical and social sense. The project has just begun but we expect this process to help us more consciously to express those distinctive traits that have always been part of the Bomi Group’s DNA “.
