BOMI HEALTH TECH DIVISION FURTHER GROWS

 

Bomi Group acquires Autotrasporti Barbieri and strengthens the presence of Bomi Health Tech business unit in Italy

Bomi Group, a multinational leader in the integrated logistics serving the Healthcare sector, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Autotrasporti Barbieri Srl, a historical Italian company specialized in the transport and installation of electro-medical equipment.

With the acquisition of Autotrasporti Barbieri, Bomi Group consolidates the Bomi Health Tech business unit dedicated to the handling and transportation of high-tech medical and hospital device assets, providing a direct presence throughout Italy.

Autotrasporti Barbieri was founded in 1970, and currently has 10 warehouses and platforms located in Lombardy, Lazio and Campania for a total of over 16,000 m2. It is certified ISO 9001:2015 and has ADR Class 7 certification for the transport of radioactive material.

With a fleet of over 40 vehicles, with tail lifts and equipment for the handling of electro-medical devices, Autotrasporti Barbieri will merge entirely into the Bomi Health Tech business unit and its pan-European network.

The continuity of the business will be guaranteed by Alessandro Barbieri, Paolo Barbieri, Vito Barbieri who will support the development of the company within the Bomi Group.

The strategic consolidation path adopted by the Bomi Group in the Health Tech sector thus continues. With the current acquisition of Autotrasporti Barbieri and the acquisition of RH Logistics in the UK last year, the Group aims at becoming a European landmark in Health Tech transport and logistics.
