BOLOGNA ONE SITE: THE NEW BOMI GROUP WAREHOUSE DEDICATED TO THE PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR

The new warehouse is the main facility for north-central Italy, in addition to the others 11 authorized pharma warehouses of the Bomi Group network.

Bomi Group, present in 24 countries all over the world with 60 warehouses and more than 3,000 employees, has inaugurated the Bologna One Site, the new facility located in the north-central part of Italy, continuing on its path of efficiency and expansion of its main facilities.

After consolidating its presence on the Italian territory with 11 pharma authorized warehouses in five regions, and after finalizing the acquisition of important historical companies from the sector with strong know-how such as CPS Farmaceutici, Bomi Group has started a path of structural expansion and efficiency improvement in the most important warehouses of the Italian peninsula.

Among these is the « BOLOGNA ONE SITE« , a new controlled temperature warehouse of 15,000 sqm located at the Bologna Interporto, authorized for the storage of drugs, food supplements, psychotropic substances and veterinary products.

Rationalization and efficiency are the keywords of the  project that involved the closure of 5 peripheral locations, divided between transport hubs and storage warehouses, in a new single location designed to guarantee the high Bomi Group operational and safety standards, as well as a high synergy between warehousing services and the Bomi Health Carrier temperature transport network.

With 11,000 pallet spaces, dedicated areas and integrated hub transport, the new Bologna site will be the reference point for the entire north-central area, and optimizing transport flows and productivity
