From Mexico to Argentina, continuous harmonization process of Bomi Global Quality Management

Bomi Group in Brazil, and Colombia has successfully completed the upgrade to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certifications.
Furthermore, in Chile and Peru branches, obtained the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certifications for the first time.
Bomi Group is in progress to be certified in all the LATAM branches, starting from Mexico following Panama and Argentina.

Since 2016, in the LATAM region, Bomi Group has started harmonization of processes, Quality Management Systems, and KPIs. Driven by the clients’ need of having regional guidelines, Bomi Group has been creating regional procedures, politics, KPIs and Governance models.
As a result of this harmonization process, all branches in the LATAM region will receive  ISO 9001/2015 and ISO 13485/2016 certifications until the middle of 2019.

Bomi Group’s Quality Management System is certified for the warehousing, administration, distribution, and transportation – including temperature-controlled transport – of medical equipment, pharmaceutical, food supplements and general healthcare products including the supply of specialised logistics consultancy and ad-hoc procedures such as re-labelling, re-packaging, kit assembly and management services for consignment stock in hospitals.

In this global quality context, each procedure is subject to a continuous improvement process.

The following are specifically guaranteed: full knowledge of and adherence to local regulations, compliance with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system, management of the “Cold Chain” through a validated process incorporating monitoring of product temperatures at each stage of the distribution chain, a transport network that conforms to GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and UDI (Unique Device Identification) systems to guarantee traceability and transparency.
