BOMI Group: a new warehouse in France fully devoted to Healthcare

As part of our development strategy and to offer our customers services that are more and more tailored to the requirements of the healthcare sector, BOMI Group in France has recently moved to a new warehouse in Bussy-Saint-Georges, which is entirely dedicated to the healthcare sector. 

The geographical location was a key factor in the choice of the new facility: to the east of Paris, at the crossroads of the A4 freeway and the N104 Francilienne road, from the new BOMI Group warehouse it is possible to reach the north of Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport), the city center and the south of the city in half an hour, and the whole of the Ile-de-France region in one hour only. 

A location that supports our growth plan: the warehouse has a surface area of 6880 sqm, with approximately 7000 pallet spaces and an additional 609 sqm of offices, conference room and working areas. The building is free-standing, 10 meters high and has 6 leveler loading docks, plus one full height door. 

A qualitative choice: The entire surface has several ICPE storage authorizations and a sprinkler system. BOMI Group in France plans to certify the site to ISO 13485 in the first half of 2021 and is implementing a temperature monitoring system according to pharma standards. 

The new warehouse will also allow for the centralization of logistic services, including the implementation of a demo device stock management area: a decontamination room and a technical workshop for programming and repair, where trained teams will intervene directly on our customers’ devices. 

2021 is a decisive turning point for BOMI Group in France and many projects will see the lightsoon: the installation of a cold room, the consolidation of a temperature-controlled area, the setting up of a regional and dedicated medical transport fleet.
